NEWSLETTERS

Working in partnership to keep young people informed and safe.
As part of Hampshire Constabulary’s ongoing commitment to working in partnership to safeguard children and young people, the Local Policing Delivery Unit (formerly Strategic Partnerships) developed and circulated regular e-newsletters for a number of years to professionals and young people as a means to sharing relevant information, news, opportunities and to raise awareness of risks and trends known to put children and young people at risk of harm.

Until now, the newsletter has been prepared in PDF format and shared by email every other month which has limited the ability to share information as frequently, or as promptly as we would have liked – however, this is about to change.

The new Safe4me microsite offers the capacity to provide users with a live news page; as a permanent feature on the site, the content will always be current and up to date as information and alerts can be added in real-time. This will ensure important notifications and relevant information is shared quickly, avoiding any impact which could affect safeguarding and awareness raising opportunities. This feature is coming soon and will replace the original e-newsletter from here on, significantly improving the service and overall experience for users.
