The Youth Commission is a brilliant opportunity for young people to gain new knowledge, skills and experiences, and have their say on crime and policing issues that matter most to them.

It enables young people to actively support, challenge and voice the opinions of young people from across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, to help shape decisions about policing and crime.

Every year, Youth Commission members focus their work on key priorities to inform their work to develop campaigns which address issues identified with young people through their consultation called The Big Conversation.

The Youth Commission produce a Recommendations Report, presenting their findings and recommendations to the Police and Crime Commissioner, Police and other partner agencies at an annual conference.

Youth Commission Campaigns set out to raise awareness, provide lesson plans, film resources and signpost to relevant support agencies.
