By September 24, 2019 Get Involved

Be a part of the Hampshire and IOW Youth Commission….

The purpose of the Youth Commission is to include young people in being part of the solution to tackling crime and improving policing, rather than being seen as part of the problem.

Made up of young people aged between 14 and 25 who set out to:

…talk with young people in their communities to understand their policing and criminal justice concerns

…provide opportunities for young people to inform, support and challenge the Police and Crime Commissioners work

…identify the root causes of problems, make recommendations for change and work on solutions

Spread the word to young people you work with…

The Youth Commission is a brilliant opportunity for young people to gain new knowledge and experience, working directly with the Commissioner, key police officials and partners. Young people from all backgrounds are welcome, including those with personal experience of the police or criminal justice system.

Closing date is 1st November 2019
